* Special Note for Appeals from a Trial Judgment
We do not recommend a free phone call (alone) if you plan to challenge a new, final judgment in the Arizona Court of Appeals. The filing deadline is short and cannot be extended. That makes it hard to (i) run the call and discover you may have a good case, (ii) schedule a full video conference to look over the judgment and exhibits, and then (iii) still leave enough time to review the trial transcript or A/V recording - all before your deadline arrives.
If you do plan to challenge a final decree in the Arizona Court of Appeals, please tell us so clearly when you describe your legal situation at the end of this intake form. This way, when we talk, we’ll be ready to give you special guidance.
In the meantime, keep a close eye on your appellate deadline! That is usually (but not always) 30 calendar days from when the judgment was filed. Such notices are simple: just the two or three sentences it takes to announce your intentions and identify the order you plan to challenge. But if you miss that deadline, you are almost certainly finished.

Reaching Us Later
If you need to reschedule or share important news, you are welcome to call or email us. Just please remember that, for ethical reasons, we have to be careful about extended email chains or repeated voice messaging concerning the substance of your case when there is no attorney/client relationship yet. Our formal representation cannot begin until after the consultation, when we have all approved a written service agreement. Thanks for understanding!
